Saving a document in PDF format is quite easy, especially when there are so many virtual printers out there. If you need to modify a document's contents, then you would have to convert it back to a rich text format, which can't be done with Adobe PDF Reader. In situations like this, PDF Shaper can help you convert PDF files to RTF format in just a few seconds. This lightweight application supports single and batch operations and it lets you decide how to handle a document's contents.

PDF Shaper is offered as a freeware application and it is compatible with numerous Windows platforms, from Win NT, up to Win 8. It comes in a small package and it can be installed in a matter of seconds. You don't have to meet any special requirements, so you can run the application right away.

The conversion procedure is really simple. All you have to do is select the source file, set up a destination and click a button to start converting. The application will convert the whole document, but you can restrict it to specific pages or to a certain page range. You can specify individual page numbers or a range, in an input filed, on the same compact interface.

Batch conversions can be performed on a different tab, on which you only need to drag and drop the input files, select an output folder and click a Convert button. A series of configurations can be made on the Options tab. PDF Shaper can be set to process or skip images, paragraphs, tables and other elements. Alternatively, it can replace them with a blank space. You can also use predefined profiles for images or plain text.
